Travelling to griffin park
There’s more to a Brentford Matchday than just the football and we want to help you plan your day so that you have a great day out.
Around the ground
- Griffin Park
Griffin Park (where we play) can be found in Brentford at TW8 0NT. Below are some helpful bits of information to help make your day with us even better.
How do we get to Griffin Park?
There are plenty of bus routes which pass by Griffin Park. The 65 and 235 stop outside the football ground and buses 237, 267, E2, E8, 195 and H91 stop a five to ten minute walk from Griffin Park. You can find bus times here
The nearest underground station is South Ealing on the Piccadilly Line, which is approximately a 20 minute walk from Griffin Park. Come out of the station, turn right and continue to walk down South Ealing Road towards Ealing Road, you can’t miss the iconic floodlights of Griffin Park. You can plan your train journey here
Brentford Train station is only 5 minutes from Griffin Park. All aboard !!
Where can we park?
Parking is quite limited as residents permit parking exists all around the stadium. There are a number of hotels that have fee paying car parks. One is the Premier Inn Kew Bridge (not Premier Inn Brentford) which is approximately a five minute walk from the stadium (TW8 0BB). Alternatively, there is the Travelodge Kew Bridge (TW8 0BD). Brentford Health Centre opposite Brentford train station offers parking (TW8 8DS). Blue Badge holders are advised to use these car parks. Further afield there is free street parking as well as a limited amount of parking meter bays.

Information on parking in the local area can also be found here.
What can we do before and after the game?
If you arrive early then there are plenty of things to do to make your day out a great day out. We are very near to some lovely parks, Kew Gardens and some museums, however don’t forget our matchday fun starts from 12pm when our Stadium Shop opens.
What time should we get there?
The stadium opens at 1.30pm on Saturdays and at 6.30pm for a “Brentford Nights” game. You can come and meet some players in the Stadium Shop from 1.45pm and in the Bee Block from 2.20pm on a Saturday and from 6.30pm and 7pm on a night game. Buzz and Buzzette will be up to their antics from around one hour before kick-off.
What do we do when we get there?
It’s always best to arrive at the stadium as early as you can to take part in our matchday activities. Around one hour and 15 minutes before the game, you can meet our players in the Stadium Shop (Braemar Road). What’s more, if you sit in the Family Area (New Road / Bee Block), we have a facepainter at every game (from one hour before kick-off) and our friends Buzz and Buzzette will be about before the game. We have TVs in the concourses and plenty of food and drink options inside the stadium.
